# Keyboard and Mouse Shortcuts

For the most up-to-date list of all Ango Hub keyboard shortcuts, from any labeling editor, click on the "keyboard" icon.

## Move Objects with the Keyboard

Select an object, then press **Alt + an arrow key** to move it by one image pixel in that direction. Hold **Shift + Alt + an arrow key** for larger adjustments. The larger step adapts to the zoom level, so it covers roughly the same distance on screen.

You can move bounding boxes, rotated bounding boxes, polygons, polylines, points, circles, skeletons, and segmentations this way in the image, video, and DICOM editors. For bounding box resizing shortcuts, see [Move and Resize Bounding Boxes with the Keyboard](/labeling/labeling-tools/tools/bounding-box.md#move-and-resize-bounding-boxes-with-the-keyboard).

Select multiple objects to move them together, preserving their relative positions. Movement stops at the image boundary: if one selected object reaches an edge, the whole group stops in that direction.

Hold an arrow key to repeat the movement. Undo reverts the whole continuous hold in one step. In a multi-pane grid, only the active pane responds.

Locked objects stay in place. These shortcuts are unavailable in read-only mode, while drawing, and for NRRD and NIfTI series.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.imerit.net/other/keyboard-and-mouse-shortcuts.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
